The year thus far has seen our Year 7 Football Team go from strength to strength. From a trial in September seeing over 200 boys attend across a three day period. We have had over 150 year 7s attending Football Enrichment every Monday after school to work closely with the PE Department to enhance their skills and tactics.

We have been fortunate enough this year to provide opportunities for over 75 year 7s to represent Carshalton Boys in competitive football fixtures against other Schools, including Wilsons, Sutton Grammar and Wimbledon College. Fixtures have seen the Y7 ‘A’ Team Travel a far as Beths Grammar School in Bexley, play every day of the week (including a handful of Saturday mornings) which is a testament to their commitment. The Y7 ‘A’ team have played 15 games to date, winning 10 and drawing 2, with notable wins coming against Glenthorne 8-2 and Three Rivers Academy 3-0 in the National Cup 2^nd Round.
